Briefing outline

The paper outlines the union’s position on the Employment Rights Bill and its implications for social care workers in Wales. Senedd Members should support the Legislative Consent Memorandum to ensure Welsh care workers benefit from UK-wide improvements in pay and conditions through a Social Care Negotiating Body. 

Methodology

The briefing was based a consultation of all school staff members held in January and February 2025.
