How much you pay for your UNISON membership depends on how much you earn.

Our membership fees are divided into 11 salary bands, so the more (or less) you earn, the more (or less) you pay each month.

All members still get the same benefits, support and exclusive offers.

Northern Ireland membership rates do not have contributions towards political funds and start from £1.22 a month.

We also offer membership for just £10 a year to students and apprentices.

You can join UNISON for just £10 a year if you are earning the minimum wage for apprentices, or are in the following categories:

  • intermediate (England)
  • modern apprenticeship (Scotland)
  • foundation apprenticeship (Cymru/Wales)

All other apprentices will pay the standard pay-related UNISON subscription rates
