UNISON’s Newham healthcare branch secretary Chris Akaluka explains how his branch ran its successful campaign to bring outsourced members back in-house at Barts Health NHS Trust, in London.
Chris and his colleagues talk also about why it’s so important for all members to work for one employer, with benefits including increased pay, equal opportunity, proper banding and, as Chris says, “a better sense of belonging.”
