The Housing (Scotland) Bill will introduce a system of long-term rent controls.
This briefing gives an overview of the Government consultation on whether to exempt Mid Market Rent and Build to Rent properties from these rent controls.
The Government is also asking whether to exempt landlords who carry out improvements or are hit by additional expenses.
UNISON branches are asked to circulate the briefing and forward views to inform the union’s response.
