This course will teach members who work in health and social care the basics of British sign language (BSL)

This course will help you to:
- recognise challenges that Deaf people face in a Health and Social Care setting;
- recognise at least 10 BSL Health and Social Care signs;
- understand why clarifying information is important when communicating;
- recognise the importance of staff and learners having some basic BSL signs in a health care environment;
- recognise some basic BSL greeting signs.
