Greater London: Regional Black Members Committee AGM

Branches are invited to register their delegation for the Regional Black Members Committee AGM.

The formula for branch representation at this meeting is shown below: 

            1         -           1000 members         -          two delegates           

            1001   -           3000 members        -          four delegates 

            3001   -           5000 members        -         six delegates 

            5001   -           upwards members   -         eight delegates 

All delegates from your branch must be Black UNISON members.  
For the purposes of the meeting, Black UNISON members are members who face discrimination on the grounds of race, colour, or ethnic origin. 

If your branch has a recognised UNISON Black Members Group, you are expected to consult and agree with that group the composition of your branch delegation to this meeting. 

You should submit details of your delegation using the registration form below to Marisa Scott, [email protected], deadline is 12 noon on Friday 14 August 2026. 

Also below is a Nomination Form for the Regional Black Members Committee and a Form for motions to the Annual General Meeting.  The deadline for receipt of these is also 12 NOON on Friday, 14th August 2026.  

Nominees for seats on the Regional Black Members Committee can submit an election address of no more than 500 words with the nomination form.   

The Chair and 2 Vice-Chairs of the Regional Black Members Committee will be elected by delegates at the AGM.  To be considered as Chair and Vice-Chairs, members must be elected to the RBMC.
