One-off grants for members facing financial difficulty

If you are a member and are struggling with your finances, UNISON Welfare (There for You) can offer a one-off financial assistance grant.
We support thousands of members and their families every year with expenses like utility bills, general living costs, household appliances, urgent repairs, disability equipment and adaptations and funeral costs.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you must have been a member of UNISON for at least four weeks and up-to-date with your subscriptions. The financial difficulties that led you to apply must also have occurred after you joined. See full eligibility criteria.

How to apply

To apply, download the application form below, fill it out and return it to us along with scans or photos of your supporting paperwork.
