Swindon Local Government Branch donates £2,000 to Bath Half fundraising

Swindon Local Government Branch has made a £2,000 donation towards our organisers Bath Half Marathon fundraising in aid of UNISON’s welfare charity, There for You.

The incredible donation comes after UNISON staff from across the South West pledged to run the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 16th October 2022.

Karla Bradford, UNISON Branch Secretary for Swindon Local Government Branch said:

“There for You has been a vital lifeline for many UNISON members over the past two years. We are just delighted to be able to support them with this donation.

“We know all too well the financial challenges the cost of living crisis has brought for many families in Swindon and across the UK.

“We would encourage anyone experiencing financial worries to get in touch to see how the union’s charity can support them.”
