Year of Green Activity – conference information packs
As part of UNISON’s Year of Green Activity, the union is exploring ways to make conferences run more sustainably, and be more environmentally friendly going forward.
From the first conference of 2026, conference information packs will only be provided in hard copies if delegates opt-in online or as request a reasonable adjustment. Delegates will still get a letter, voting card (if applicable) and badge through the post, as normal.
This is an important change, demonstrating UNISON’s commitment to sustainability and positive environmental change in line with the Year of Green Activity.
The UNISON Conference App, (available on the App Store and Google Play store) will be available for all 2026 conferences. More information about the app, including how to get set up, is available here.
If you’re attending a conference and want to opt-in for hard copies, just follow the step-by-step guide below. Once you reach step 7, you can pick the appropriate option for what you wish to request or change.
Important information: You must select Opt-In, if you so choose, for each conference you attend.
- Go to the MY UNISON – My UNISON – Login Page
- Login using your membership number and password. If you never accessed this before you must register – My UNISON Registration
- Once you login you will have the option to click OCS
- Once the page of OCS opens, click “Login as a member”
- Click on the conference available to you.
- Click My Requirements
- Click Opt-In
- Fill the form and click save or submit
