NHS Job Evaluation Group launch review into nursing and midwifery profiles

The purpose of the review is to ensure that the national role profiles used locally to match nursing and midwifery jobs are up to date, reflect the modern nursing and midwifery landscape and ensure pay equity for this group of staff. The profiles are used across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

JEG will be launching a national survey on 29^th September aimed at JE leads to gather crucial evidence about the review.

What can you do now to prepare for the survey?

• Raise the review at your local JNCC
• Agree with your employer how the survey will be completed in partnership
• Talk to your local staff side JE lead about gathering up to date evidence and job descriptions

There will be an online briefing on 7^th September. Look out for details in future health newsletters.
