UNISON has been campaigning for the creation of a national care service in England for many years – and last year secured a manifesto commitment from Labour to deliver one.

In this new film, the union’s senior national officer for social care, Gavin Edwards, explains what a national care service is, what Labour is doing to make it happen, and how UNISON members can get involved in the ongoing campaign.

And there is still much to do because, as Gavin says: “The need for change is so urgent”.

Make a cuppa and watch the film
