Event information
Dates: Friday 2 October (from 4pm) through to Sunday 4 October (close around 12pm)
Location: Birmingham
Seminar venue (and accommodation): Conference Aston Events Centre, Birmingham

This seminar is open to all members in UNISON WET branches across the water industry, the environment agencies, and the transport sector.

Members will be able to take part in a series of engaging workshops, hear from a range of interesting speakers and presenters, and participate in ideas-sharing sessions and activities, all centred around the priorities of members and branches and the interests of workers across the WET sectors.

The seminar also provides the chance for members to meet, network, and discuss and share best practice.

The workshops and other sessions that are planned for this seminar are being arranged now, and a provisional programme will be posted on this page in due course.

In previous years sessions across the seminar programme have covered recruitment and organising in workplaces, workshops around campaigning on issues central to the interests of WET members, briefings on political and industrial developments affecting WET sectors, health and safety issues, bargaining around equality issues, briefings on national UNISON projects and initiatives, and sector-specific breakout work.

A full provisional timetable for this seminar will be published on this page as soon as possible after one is available.

Special guest speakers of direct relevance to the sector will also be invited.
