New Steward Course – Stage 2 (Local Government) Teesside

This course is aimed at Local Government reps however reps from other service groups may attend.
To become a UNISON steward and represent members in your workplace you must complete Stage 1 and Stage 2 training.
Stage 2
You must have already completed the Stage 1 course to attend Stage 2.
The final two days of the training for workplace representatives will certify you as competent to accompany members at disciplinary and grievance hearings in order to comply with the Employment Relations Act (ERA) 1999.
For members wish to become accredited or represent members in grievance and disciplinary procedures, you must also attend Stage 2.
