Equality officer training

Training for Black Members Officers, LGBT+ Officers and Disabled Members Officers is currently offered nationally, or through separate regional training opportunities later in the year.

Due to limited classroom space at the venue, these dedicated courses are not included within this year’s programme. However, branches may authorise new LGBT+, Black Members and Disabled Members officers to attend the Equality Coordinators course, as it provides a strong grounding in organising for equality within branches.

Future training opportunities are also being explored for:

  • International Officers
  • Environment Officers
  • Welfare Officers

Accommodation and costs

This is a fully residential event. The cost is £389 per delegate, which covers accommodation and catering for the duration of the weekend.

Please note that this cost is not covered by the Regional Educational Levy and should be authorised by branches before booking.

Access, childcare and dietary requirements

Childcare support can be provided. Please include any childcare, access or dietary requirements when booking.
