No, UNISON is a non-profit making organisation whose members do not pay a fee for services. Members pay subscriptions to be part of a collective organisation of members and activists supporting each other.
Members receive collective benefits throughout their membership which includes the union negotiating on their behalf on issues such as pay, terms and conditions, and health and safety.

Yes, but we’ll need your consent for us to correspond with someone else on your behalf.
If someone is submitting a complaint on your behalf, make sure they let us know when the complaint is submitted. Someone will then contact you for your consent.
For any member representation queries, members should contact their branch in the first instance.

Feedback and complaints are dealt with in line with the relevant procedures, if you would like to re-submit your feedback or complaint, please do so following the procedures above.
If you require a reasonable adjustment, please tell us what support you need, why you need it, and the barriers this would address. Each request will be considered on its individual merits, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
