What is Merlin?
Merlin is UNISON’s new membership management system for all branches and staff. Merlin has been built to help us work better together and support our members more effectively. It’s a secure, modern platform for managing member data and keeping everything connected in one place.
What are the benefits of Merlin?
- Easier access: No need to enter login credentials every time you access Merlin.
- Modern E-learning platform: Training delivered via high-quality videos that focus on core membership activities.
- Improved searching: ie searching by member’s mobile number or email address.
- Empowering users: Everyone can make simple amendments, so no need to email membership departments to make these changes. Complex membership changes can be escalated to the relevant membership depts within the member’s record.
- Disparate systems under Merlin: MCT, WARMS and core RMS membership functions included for all users.
- Improved GDPR compliance: Data extracts are pre-defined, so users have access to the data for their specific need.
- Improved data management: Improved management of employer alternative names and social care and schools membership data.
